We haven't done either. I love the RNP and my sleep too much. But planning to start next weekend. I can see arguments for both but we will start with swaddle because it will allow her arm(s) to be out but still keep them close and unable to flail all over because of RNP positioning. We've done a few naps this way. Plus she is starting to roll and just not safe for her to be rolling like a burrito in the swaddle. Also found our PNP to sometimes not be level and she will roll if swaddled in the Velcro swaddle mes.
