Moving on to IVF.
IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy
Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14

Good luck at your CHL class! Prepare to be wall to wall bodies at the range though. Two weekends ago DH and I went to 4 ranges and 2 of them didn't even have a parking spot available, one we just drove past because there were 3 cars trying to get in the parking lot ahead of us and the last one had a 40 min wait. Apparently all the CHL classes around here are completely full!

Eek! I was lukewarm about this class anyway, but only am going because DH is so gungho about it. Then when I found out it was 11 hours long I was starting to regret agreeing to go, but again - very important to DH. I'm excited about getting a CHL, but not as excited about spending a whole Sunday doing it. And now to think it will be amongst crowds..bah!

I heard they are full here too but luckily we got a groupon a long time ago, like way back in November for a "Couples Course." Romantic, huh?
I didn't know you guys were into shooting! We have so much in common, we love to go trap shooting and theres also a local indoor range up the street from me. Next time you're in Austin, we should get together for some shootin' fun! All of other friends either aren't into it or are pregnant. :-D Lets take our our IF anger on some orange clay discs!

I haven't taken it yet. DH has a customer who does the classes and he is supposed to come to our house for the non-range part of it and then for the range part he is a member of a club we can go to so hopefully it won't be too busy. Last weekend was the first time I shot in a range and it was so loud! Thankfully everyone left shortly after we got there so it wasn't too bad after that. It made me nervous to shoot because I was scared someone else's shot would startle me and I'd misfire. lol I've shot outdoors at my grandparent's house before and it was better, so I think I'd prefer an outdoor range when the weather warms up.
Sooo romantic! YH better bring you some flowers to the class.
DH would love to go trap shooting! I'll have to tell him. He'll be like let's pack our bags now. lol I wonder if I can get some ovary shaped clay discs? Now that would be anger management!!

That sounds awesome! I wish we went to more museums. We went to Houston last spring and visited one and saw two exhibits - the titanic exhibit, and another chinese one similar (I think) to the one you are seeing. Both were incredible.
Your figure drawing sounds awesome, I used to do that when I lived in Santa Cruz. 5 bucks, naked person, pencil and paper - SO AWESOME! I didn't realize you were artsy!

yeah. I'm an artsy person. Went to art college and such. I used to work in hand-drawn animation but now I work in illustration/graphic design with a lot of focus on kid type art (still LOVE animation tho). Also, at times a filmmaker. I have a studio in my house. I make things.

Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid, more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
RPL testing all normal, Karyotyping normal
Moving on to IVF.
IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy
Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14
After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14

That's awesome! I remember your work on those badges and they rocked! I'm jealous that you have a studio and get to do that for work. There are days I wish I had stuck with graphic design. Luckily I get to work with a team at my job on a side project that helps me get some of that creativity out.
As for me, I was big into art in high school and my younger years. I took AP art in HS and was taking classes at the technical college for graphic design which was the direction I thought I was headed toward. I applied to art school at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and got accepted in 1999, and even got a partial scholarship, but sadly my parents couldn't afford the remainder to send me. So I packed my bags and moved to Silicon Valley instead and took a job as a graphic designer there. After doing that for a bit, I realized I was better at IT creating designs and art on demand every day, so I ended up pursuing IT. I still love drawing and painting as a hobby. And I especially love figure drawing, I hope I don't sound like a pervert but I think the human form is so beautiful and I love capturing it!

3/27/13 - After beta and u/s hell, no heartbeat ever detected. D&C at 9w1d.
6/5/13 - Adopted four new embryos that had been frozen for seven years!
9/12/13 - DEmbryo FET #2. Thawed and transferred two beautiful blasts

I have a colleague who went to SVA in NYC - but far before you would have gone.
Figure drawing is great. I used to do it weekly but now it's been a few years since I was actively doing it. It's hard to explain to some people who might think it was weird, or pervy or sessy or whatever.
