  I'm also turning 40 in May, with a 15 year old daughter and due in September. I understand all the excitement and fear about starting all over.
  When my daughter was born there was no online shopping or strollers with cup holders... It's a whole new baby world out there! I can't wait!!

  TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!

  Congrats!!!!! I turn 40 in April and found out at Christmas I am pregnant with triplets. I have two boys 22 and 18 and a 13 step-son. I also have a 2 yr old grandson, so i know how you feel about starting over. GL with you new prenancy

  I'm 42 and starting over too....I have an 18 yr. son, 16 yr. old daughter, and 2 yr. old step daughter! Baby is due in 5 weeks now....it's been physically harder but I feel very blessed knowing I get to experience those oh so short precious baby moments again! Don't be nervous, it will be wonderful!

  I'm "only" 37, young for this board, but this is our first. All of you lovely ladies having kids in your 40s give me such hope! We're wanting to have two, and it took us a couple years to get pregnant with this one.

  I'm 40 and this is our first. (Took way too long to find my amazing husband!) We are hoping for at least one more after this. Actually, DH is crossing his fingers for multiples. I'm okay with doing this one at a time! Glad to see some of you on here a few years older than me. I really don't want to stop at just one.

  Yes! Just had my first son 2 years ago at 38, and now Im having another boy in May, at age 40.

  Unfortunately we lost our son in July to Trisomy 18 when I was 6 months pregnant, but we are lucky enough to be expecting again. 

  This will be the last though. Which is just fine with my body!

  Congratulations! I am 41 with my first baby due in April and it is so nice to read about other women my age having babies. I was a bit nervous when I first found out I was pregnant as all my friends and co-workers had their babies when they were much younger, so it's nice to know I am not alone.
