Update on house/kind of moving

So as for the house... we're not getting into it. I finally talked DH down from having his dad essentially buy it for us and we had a long discussion about how it wasn't something we were looking to get into for at least another year so I wasn't comfortable trying to rearrange budget and general living arrangements with the new baby. So I guess that will be someone else's opportunity, then again who knows? MIL's house was taken in a foreclosure and is still standing untouched and bank owned almost 2 years later... so we may still have a shot at this one lol

On the other hand, DH just called and told me that there is a very high possibility that we can move within our current complex... into a newly renovated unit! I don't want to get my hopes up too high but let me tell you... buy buy galley kitchen and hello open concept, hardwoods in the dining and living rooms (currently carpet), real ceramic tile in the bathroom and kitchen, crown molding everywhere, new light fixtures everywhere, sliding french doors onto the deck, new tub surrounds/toilets/sinks/etc., new cabinets/counters in the bathroom and kitchen, all new appliances and all new windows.

I figured I'd share my excitement and update about the house deal since I hadn't yet.

ETA: So yes, I may actually be able to get away from my possessed kitchen after all
