    I can't watch it at work but if it's the doctor who has witnessed his wife's labours and then gets hooked up for the simulation, it is beauty.

    I had a scheduled cesarean, so I don't know how you ladies feel. I do, however, think some of you ladies might get a kick out of the idea of your husband's feeling your pain.

    Is that the norm?  I got my epidural when I was stuck at 3 cm (granted, I also had severe back/hip pain and zero pain tolerance).

    I actually have no idea.  I got mine at 10cm with DS1 and went natural with DS2.

    They like to hold off until then, because they worry the drugs will wear off by show time.
