I signed a lease!

And I have the keys. See? I promised no more crazy house-hunting drama posts until I signed a lease.

Crappy thing about signing a lease on a Friday is that my stuff won't be delivered until Monday, but I'm glad to have the weekend to figure out how I want everything to go. I'm also glad we moved during the "off" season so that they had time right away - I think we had to wait a few extra days last time.

So I measured all the rooms today and will be spending the weekend with a floorplan program trying to figure out how to arrange things.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to comment on my other posts and offer advice - I sincerely appreciate it. A lot of the comments helped me think through things I might have otherwise overlooked.

Oh, and I went with the older quirky house, in case anyone is curious.

So - party at my "new" house next weekend? Party!!!
