Owl is picking up short sentences, she seems to love juice lately and with little prompting has said I want grape juice. We are working on want and need sentences so we prompt the I want or need part and she can usually tell us the rest.
We've started potty training (G*d help us!) and Chris has gone pee twice. Major celebrations but I'm not sure he was all aware of what happened, but when I said "yay, Chris went pee pee in the potty" he looked down almost as if to say "yeah, there it is", lol.
I introduced flossers to the girls this week b/c I'm paranoid about dental issues (especially for DD2, her teeth are closer together than DD1's). DD1 took to them like a champ and we trade back and forth on "rubbing her teeth."
We started getting milk delivered from a local dairy, and DD1 will actually drink their chocolate milk. This is great, b/c she has hated white milk since she was 15 months and weaned from BM, and I always worry about her getting enough calcium.
Yesterday DD2 whacked me in the face while playing. While I was explaining to her that it hurt, DD1 was very concerned about me. "Mama, where does it hurt? I'll take care of you, Mama-bird."
I also feel like DD1 is influencing DD2 more on PTing than I am. DD1 plops herself down on the toilet to do her thing, and DD2 wants so badly to be like her big sister that she drags out our little potty, strips herself down, and they sit there and "read" books to each other. It is so funny and adorable!
The only thing I can brag on this week is that I am being a huge advocate for getting Sir I's seizures under control. Daily calls to neuro, insisting he's still having them, and pushing for better meds. So I guess this brag is on me!
DS had a ridiculously long day. I'm tired. Preschool, OT, Music therapy class, and then a Kindergarten night. I thought for sure DH or I would have to let him run the halls while the other listened. Nope he sat through the entire presentation quietly playing with his batman mask.
I've been waiting for today and I can't believe I almost missed this post!
DS2 put himself into long sitting all by himself over the weekend! O.M.G!!!! I was all "get the camera! get the camera!" and he ended up doing it a 2nd time when I said I would take a movie of him. he he he
I'm thinking the Botox is actually helping this time. :-)
DS is clearly understanding a lot. i speak two languages to him and he has responded to "the teddy bear is hungry, feed the teddy bear" in both languages!

Can I brag about myself?
I've been working out at a new gym for the past 7months and today I FINALLY hit a goal i've been working on for that long. Psyched.

I pumped 4oz out of each breast! That's 8oz!!! Holy smokes!!
LO is eating up to 13oz a day! Not enough to make her gain weight, but hopefully enough to maintain. Progress!
