Hey ladies!
Just sharing my birth story! im typing with one hand, please excuse!
Baby West arrived 11 days early last sunday morning. I felt consistent contractions of 15-18 minutes from midnight till 4am. I knew the doc would say wait until they are closer to come to the hospital, so i trooped at home and figured it would work as i remembered the first time. Well, with all the contractions came diaherrea! a true sign! My relief was going to the toilet but I kept getting bigger bowel movements! Around 345am I appeared to crap myself AND my water broke on the toilet! I asked my husband to check me out and he saw i had crapped on myself but missed my baby had crowned now. Girls, I dont know how this advanced so fast but i never felt real pain so it did not occur at the time i was giving birth at any minute! i put on my jogging suit only after deciding not to wear a easy slip on dress because it was too cold. Girls my husband was ahead of me getting our 3yo . i made it to the kitchen island and my husband and daughter were trying to get down stairs to the car, all of a sudden, this feeling of pressure hit so hard, i screamed i cant make it gotta push! ONE push my child was born coming down my pant leg! My DH is a real trooper, I heard him knocking at the neighbors door who is a doctor, but never woke up! I heard 911 on the line asking if the baby was breathing, he came back and put the baby on my chest and EMT's were there within 5 minutes! My DD came over and asked "where did baby West come from"? lol, she then jumped up to tell me she had a present for the baby and wanted to run to her room over the placenta covered kitchen floor! I just held her hand and asked her to help baby west stay warm. Our neighbor upstairs asked if he could help but WOULD NOT come into the condo! lol DH sent him down to flag the ambulance. They were great and I was at the hospital in minutes! DS was 7lbs 4oz. What a birth story for my little man!
Re: Delivered my DS in my pant leg!
Wild!!! My DH is terrified this will happen to us. I want to stay home as long as possible but know that subsequent births can go much more quickly. Never knew this quickly!
Unless I'm naive and this is not for real...Congrats and so happy you are both healthy!

I cried, but not for the same reason as Blansaw.
I hear these are good for sore lady parts if you freeze them.
