Ill start bc I've got one....
dd woke up when dh did around 5:30. She stood in her crib in a while, yelled some, stood quietly and then took to screaming "daddy!" I ignored her because she usually sleeps until 730 and I needed her to go back down because we have plans this morning and she won't have time for a nap. Finally, at 630 she'd escalated to clearly angry so I went up. She hadn't been yelling daddy, she'd been yelling blankie, which she'd dropped out of her crib. Wahhhh. She immediately fell asleep on my chest and stayed that way until 8. Bad mom indeed.
Non lame confession - most of my pregnant sex dreams have involved women.
Re: FFFC
Hawt.
I'm sure I've got a confession in here somewhere. I'll report back when I figure out what it is.
// I love you too. //
My FFC is I let Michaela play outside yesterday without a hat. I hadbone and she kept it on for like 10 mins but then she threw it off and I didn't want to fight with her about it. The temp was like 5 c here so I figured she would be fine.
Mittens and hats are a real struggle in our house, too. DD2's mittens clip to her coat, but it still only takes her about 1.5 second to take them off. Hats aren't much better. If we're just running to/from the car, I put the hood from her coat up and that's good enough. Other than that, the only thing that really works is one of those hat/neck warmer things (I thin they're called balaclava?). Loblaws has some cute fleece ones with bear ears on top.
My FFFC
Our receptionist got married in the fall. She brought her wedding album to work yesterday. She was super proud because she did it online "all by herself".
I think it looks like crap PLUS there are a million spelling/grammar mistakes in it.
But of course I smiled and complimented her on it.
I am a teensy tiny bit disappointed that baby #2 is not a boy. Not because I'm not thrilled to have two little girls, but only because I really don't want to feel the pressure to "try" for a boy. I'm already tired of people hearing it's a girl and automatically going right to "How long will you wait to try for a boy?" Umm, settle down people, I'm still gestating this one!!
I've always pictured myself with two kids (regardless of the sex), and as of right now, I don't want any more than that. But DH has always talked about three, and since we'll have two girls, I just know he will want to go for a third eventually. I just really want to enjoy my girls and not think that far ahead right now.
NICE!

My confession: I am planning a girls-only trip. I told DH it was a business trip. If he knew the truth, he wouldn't allow me to go.
Oh my...BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! Embarrassing to the max!
Almost all of my previous pregnancy dreams were girl on girl...
The hair is blonde, and not really that long.
I considered shaving them today, an then decided I am too lazy.
Wait, so, effectively you don't shave your legs?
I do not, haha.
BUT. I do not wear shorts, capris, etc. I only wear pants, or dresses with ankle length leggings. I do not know why, but I stopped showing my legs in public in highschool.
I'll play, but someone has to explain to the noob what FFFC is.
Flame Free Friday Confession
It's quite simple. Flame-Free Friday Confession. Or Friday Flame-Free Confession. Or... you get the idea.
People always looked at me like I was crazy for wearing jeans in Hawaii. Hey, I have sensitive skin. Shaving is not a pleasant experience, and I'm certainly not going to do it every day.
More power to you - I can only go a week before it drives me crazy.
Every time I shave my legs, I tear them to pieces. Badly.
In highschool I was shaving behind my knee, in that weird little groove and cut myself so badly that it bled ALL day. DH has never mentioned being grossed out about it, so whatever! haha
I do handle the lady bits with a set of hair trimmers. That I do not let get out of control!
So...how many Five Guys burgers is TOO many within the span of 10 days? Will I die if I eat just one more (total of 3)? I mean, I know it's not good for me, but my options are limited unless I want to make a pretty far drive for healthier food. My hotel is in the ghetto, so mostly fast food around here. The base food court has Five Guys, Chinese, Mexican, pizza, IHOP, and Subway.
I fully intend to make my "move-in shopping trip" to stock up on groceries to make ACTUAL MEALS once I have my stuff in my house on Monday, so technically it's only through the weekend that I'm indulging.
I ate a spinach salad last night, so I have room for another burger, right? RIGHT?
Ugh...they just smell so delicious when I'm over at the little food court. I never feel full after I eat over there because I just keep smelling the burgers while I sit and wait for DS to finish his food. (DS does NOT get a burger, for the record. He doesn't even like ground beef.)
Same here, we have all been eating like crap. I just do not have the patience, energy, or stomach to make real meals right now. I told DH we really need to do better this weekend. At least DD does eat a ton of fruit when I offer it to her.
Oooh! I get it!! I KNEW I would like this board.
Here's mine:
My sister may be irresponsible, but I am glad she is taking the nephew this weekend, because I would really love some family time with my H and older kids.
I'm excited for the next time my kids go with their bio-daddy, and the nephew goes with my sister on the same weekend. I can't remember the last time I didn't have to share H with someone, and it'd be nice to have him to myself for a change.
I've never had 5 guys but I lome me a good hamburger! Heck part of me is excited about goign to the Auto Show next week because of a certain burger place that's right next door. lol
Also, 3 burgers over the span of 10 days is perfectly acceptabel. /gavel
DH took DS to go to Target and get groceries so I could rest. I should be taking a shower, but Gray and I are watching Bones and I'm eating Froot Loops out of the box.
Hero status.
Andplusalso, I love that you qualified three things: it's blonde, your H doesn't mind and you wear pants.
I knew this check and she insisted the hair was "clear" and always wore shorts. Much better to own it!
