Hi ladies. I'm hoping to get pregnant this cycle so I'll have an October baby. I have a little boy who will be 2 in April. We've been ttc 2 since October but I just got my period back in December. I have been getting negative opk's every day for the past three months so not sure if I'll get to be a member of this board.

    Started TTC August 2012. BFP 10/17/12...natural MC on 10/23/12, Missing our little bean every day!  11/13-started seeking help at fertility clinic. Me: 29 (ovulation/menstrual irregularities, HSG clear), DH: 31 (1% morphology, rest is normal)

    Hello! I am also hoping to join this board.  I have son who will also be 2 in April.  Just curious, were you nursing for the last (almost) 2 years?

    I was hoping too, but my little guy wasn't really interested during the summer months and weaned himself.  I wish I would have been more persistant. 

    The reason I asked is because you mentioned going awhile w/o a period and the about the no ovulation.  We just decided to try at the end of the last cycle and I have never checked to see if I am ovulating.  With our first we only tried one cycle and we were able to get pg.  I guess I was wondering if nursing would effect ovualtion for that long.  But anyways, thanks for writing back.  I think I might at least look into something to help tell if I am ovulating.

    Yea I would definitely test to see when you ovulate. It can't hurt. I just bought cheap wondfo's from amazon. The doctor did day it could take some time to regulate due to the breast feeding.
    I was able to conceive on my first cycle last time as well.

    I'm lurking because I'm bored, like everyone else.

    Someone suggested (sarcastically, I assume) that she should intro on Nov. and Dec. too just in case, and she said it was a good idea. My point is that it makes a lot more sense to intro on the TTGP board than every birth month board.

    Do you think you give good advice?

    Here's the thing, within a week or so, this board is going to start filling up with people who actually have October EDDs. If the OP doesn't get KU this cycle, she's probably going to want a place to keep talking about ttc and just moving on to the Nov. or Dec. boards doesn't make any sense.

    Have you checked out the Nov and Dec boards? Unless you're a pubescent teenager you won't fit in there either. I agree with posting on TTGP if you're TTGP.
