Yeah, so we need one of these pretty soon. I am at a loss. We are thinking double long rather than double wide, but we are open to either at this point.
I ended up with this one https://www.rightstart.com/global/store/product~item~8826~dept~strollers~cat~double+strollers.html although I think it weighs about 30 pounds. I haven't used it with the car seat very often. Sarah likes to torment her little brother if he's in there. We put her in the front and he can lay down in the back. I like that I can eventually take the back seat off so Sarah can sit or stand back there.
I also bought a Peg Perego Twin, sold it on Craigslist. I just wasn't a fan of the side by side with an infant.
Thanks. I was looking at the first one, but will avoid it now. DH didn't like it and I was liking it, so thank you for saving me from that piece of humble pie!
FWIW, lots of people on Mom's Corner rave about that first stroller. Obviously, I have no experience w/ double strollers, but just thought I'd throw that out there as food for thought.

Definitely consider getting a double stroller that has a place for your older child to stand. Those double wide strollers just look so cumbersome to me.
I think we are going to get the BOB Dulie.. It's a side by side.. However, we love our Revolution and it's the smoothest ride... I've had other moms tell me they love it..
We have the Phil & Ted Sport Buggy with doubles kit and I love it. Now that Maren is a little older - we don't really use it as a double stroller anymore, but for the first year or so after Blake was born - it was a true lifesaver.
It really is one of the best investments we ever made. It's so convenient and easy to use. Take one trip with it to a crowded mall and you'll totally fall in love!
Re: Rec your double stroller. EEK.
Avoid this one https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2646209 looks like it would be really cool. BUT * It's heavy - I think like almost 50 pounds heavy. * You have to remove the rear seat to fold * It's a *** to close

I love my Joovy Caboose ultralight. I bought it from Baby's/Kid's First Furniture on I-45N.
