I'm pretty dull. We don't let the kids use my phone and I don't have any games. But my favorite apps are
ShopListFree. It's a grocery list that I add to as I realize that we need things and it can separate the items by section of the store and record the amount and size that I want. Then at the store, I just check off what I've grabbed and can either have the items showing or have the checked ones hidden so I can see what's left. DH recently borrowed my phone and asked if I wanted him to get some groceries on his way home. I was able to tell him to just click on that app and he got everything on the list which rarely happens with a paper list.
Housekeeping List. It's just a cleaning list that you can tailor to your own needs and then check of as you do the cleaning. You can make other lists as well, which I do for each of the kids various medications, my daily chores, and my meal list.
I paid for a camera app called Top Camera - I like it better than Instagram but it isn't a social site thing, it does have the filters and you can actually adjust things.
If you're H has an iPhone I recommend the Cozi app - it has a shared calender and you can make grocery and to do lists that share also.
MyFitnessPal has an app.
for games I play soduku2 and words usually, H plays family feud and draw something too.
Griffin loves the PBSkids app, Monkey preschool lunchbox, & The Monster at the End of this book (it's $5 but he just looooves it.) Also, I Hear Ewe and Tozzle.
For myself, Pandora, iPeriod, Yelp, and mSecure (keeps all of your passwords, logins, etc together.)
I second the Cozi app, DH and I use it and its so helpful! I like that of he checks something off the list, it removes it from mine, too. Same if he adds something, it's immediately on my list, too.
The Target app is pretty awesome if you shop there... You can get mobile coupons, and load gift cards so you can use them from a barcode on your phone!
DS loves Ewe Can Count, Disney jr., PBS kids. The fisher price apps were good when he was smaller, too.

Geo Qpons. I have an android, but i'm pretty sure it is an iphone app too. There are mobile coupons for tons of store, including Children's Place, Hobby Lobby, etc.
