DS had ear tubes this AM

This morning DS had ear tubes put in place. He did great! I was more worried about the effects of the anesthesia on his minor heart condition. But everything went smoothly.
Soon after getting home, DS started taking a lot more steps on his own. He was only taking 2-3 before, and now he takes 6 or more steps. He's still babbling, but I've already noticed the new sounds he's making. I really didn't think all of this would happen so soon after the surgery.

Baby Boy #2 is on the way!
So glad he's on the mend. Isn't it amazing how quickly they bounce back? Here's hoping he makes great leaps forward!
My nephew went from 2-3 words to about 10 in just a few days after he got his tubes.
