Missed miscarriage and D&C

I learned yesterday during a scheduled ultrasound that the baby stopped growing a few weeks ago. The doctor called it a missed miscarriage. I had a D&C today.
I'm sad. 
Anyone been there before and have advice for the coming days/weeks?

Hi. I am so so sorry you are going through this. I am also having a miscarriage right now : (
I took cytotec earlier this week to make me miscarry. That did not work so my RE suspects ectopic. I had injections of methotrexate today and that should do the job. I am trying to avoid a D&C.
I hate that anyone has to go through this. It is so devastating and emotional. If you need to talk, feel free to send me a PM. I am going through this now for the 4th time. Take care of yourself and allow yourself to grieve. Sending you big hugs!

We also just found out that twins died a few weeks ago. I just had my D&C yesterday. I hated the thought of the process but for me, I wanted to get it over with so I can grieve. The doctor gave me cytotec the night before and I experienced what was like early labor pains which was tough emotionally. I'm ok with my decision. I think seeing my DD running away and playing has definately helped knowing that we were lucky enough to have one child to come home to already. It still hurts because we were so excited but we know that they just weren't ready for the world. Feel free to PM me if you have anymore questions. You and your family are in my thoughts.
