Tell me about the FB group

I joined the Nov 11 board shortly after finding out I was pregnant, but mostly lurked because I still worked then and didn't feel comfortable posting on a message board at work all day. I SAH now and obviously have posted often since having DD, but I sort of remember people making the jump over to a FB group, but I never really got the fll story about that? It seems people weren't open to letting everyone in on the group over there (which, I understand) but I was curious if there is anyone left on our BMB that posts on FB as well or remembers what happened with that whole situation. I am open to joining the FB if they would have me... Is that group active?

I was just curious about the group after lurking on Dec 11 and their board is as dead as ours. Apparently their FB group is active though.

Not really sure of the whole story because I was never part of the FB group, but I do remember a whole lot of drama. I think for a while there were many people who posted in both places.

I've been here since the day I got my BFP (and I was due early in Nov) and I don't remember what happened with the separation. I know they made a post inviting everyone in the beginning, but I didn't want to share my personal information with internet strangers (and I didn't need another outlet to waste my time in

) so I didn't join.

I think it's defunked now. There was initially a lot of interest on here to have one started. So one was started then the creator started taking sides during the drama and kicked some people off. Then they brought their FB drama back to the board. I remember hearing that someone claimed an inicident on there broke her marriage up. Some woman posted a pic of her boobs (don't know exactly what type of pic) and then another woman showed the pic to her DH. Then that H didn't want anything to do with his W because of his lust for that other woman.

It was a huge mess. IMO, I like you all very well, but I like to keep my personal life seperate from TB.

Yes I was still a lurker when it all went down. I remember it was drama-full but I don't really remember the details. I also remember that after it happened and a whole bunch of people went over to FB, awhile later, a group came back here and tried to get people here all riled up? IDK. I can't remember it all.

If anyone remembers the time frame (and has time to kill), you could adjust the date filter on the posts that are showing and go back and find it. I'm sure it's still out there...

Omg...this sounds so crazy. I kept wanting to get an invite to the group but no one would bite and invite me. Sounds like maybe I dodged a bullet - though I could have watched the drama play out with a bowl of popcorn while DD was busy not sleeping. lol.

O....M....G.... But my interpretation of that thread is that 4 or 5 girls from the FB group (who may or may not have been kicked out of the FB group) came over together to TB.....I don't know....get attention from bumpies? IDK. Whatever it was, I don't want anything to do with those crazies. And as slow as this board has been, IDK, maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have it slow than filled with that nonsense all the time (though I guess once in a blue moon would bring some entertainment).

(Way to go back and find something! I don't judge about having time....I just didn't today or I might have looked. A couple weeks ago I went back to posts from January b/c I was trying to remember a SN of someone who doesn't post anymore. (Yeah, that's my creepy confession of the day.))

Thanks for the link! That was funny, and I do remember going to the FB group but it was to much too fast and I left. I wonder how they are now but I have to say some that left made this board less complicated.

It sounds like a big joke. Honestly though if a group of mothers spend their time making up fake drama like that to get a laugh.. we are all better off without that group. Im going to guess really young first time moms. Alot of this is on TB which is why I barely ever get on here. I understand joking with each other but acting like 13 year olds is just not ok to me.
