Anyone have an u/s around 5 weeks?

in 1st Trimester
Since I didn't get a period after my last m/c, my doctor wants to do an ultrasound next week to date the pregnancy. I think I'll be 5w1d.  Anyone have an u/s this early? What did you see? I'm so nervous that they won't see anything and I will be in limbo again. TIA

    I had one yesterday. We thought I was about 7 weeks along, but my LMP date wasn't a true date to use for me (long cycle), we think I'm more like 5 weeks. We saw the round yolk sac (it's a black circle) and a very small fetal pole, looked like a bright white grain of rice inside the sac. Good luck!

     Oh - Mine was transvaginal BTW.

    I had an u/s at 5w due to a low 3rd beta. I only saw a sac with a placenta layer. I have a picture of it in my blog (link). I thought I was behind based on that but the next week we saw the hb, and the next week we saw and heard the hb and got a near perfect measurement on baby. GL!

    Me: 29, PCOS (anov), Hashimoto's Disease // DH: 30, normal SA
    3 Clomid, 1 Clomid/Menopur, 1 Menopur w/ TI (CX 4x's due to cysts) - All BFN
    1 Clomid/Menopur, 2 Menopur, 1 Follistim w/ IUI - All BFN
    RPL & Karyotype testing normal

    IUI #5 (12/1/12) --> Follistim + 1/3 hCG Trigger = BFP! EDD: 8/23/13
    Betas --> 61 (13dpo) // 156 (16 dpo) // 223 (18dpo) // 656 (21 dpo)
    U/S --> 5w0d - sac seen // 6w0d - hb detected // 7w0d - hb seen and heard, measuring 6w6d!
    8w6d - wiggly baby! // 9w3d - wiggly baby with fingers!

    When I had my 5wk u/s we saw a sac and a pole, sometimes you won't see a fetal pole but they might be able to see the sac with the dildo cam. Good luck to you lady! <3

    I had a 5 week US. You don't see much, maybe just the fluid filled sac at that stage, and that's ok.  Good luck!

    As long as your betas are over 1500, you should see something, at minimum a gestational sac.

    I had an ultrasound at 5w5d with DD1 since they had no idea how far along I was.  I can't go check what the pic looked like (its in her room and she is sleeping).  But if I recall it was just the sac and fetal pole. I was sent back in at 7 weeks again after that one.  Good luck!

    With my first pregnancy, at about five and a half weeks we saw a sac, yolk sac, and fetal pole. We unfortunately lost that pregnancy. This time, at the same time, we just saw a sac and yolk sac, no fetal pole yet. You might not see anything except the sac. Hang in there! Hopefully they'll do a follow up in a week or two to make sure everything's growing okay.

    I had a Transvaginal u/s at 6wks since I did fertility treatments. We were able to see the little flashes of light where the heart is. It didn't look like much but it was nice to see the little flashes of light. :) Good luck to you. :)
    Off bc since 2/11. Started opk's on7/11. Temping since 1/12. DH SA= Normal :)HSG was normal. 4th cycle of Letrozole 5mg daily. 3 failed iui's. Had 4th one done, fx for 12/18. :) 1st BFP 12/15/12 BabyFruit Ticker
