Are all socks created equal?

I need to get some more socks for DS.  Any particular brands you recommend?

  • Loading the player...
  • i asked on my local board bc no socks stay on DD.  Overwhelming the response was either trumpette(expensive) or triple roll from old navy..much cheaper. I bought the ones from old navy today

    Trumpette.

This! LO never looses one with this brand. Expensive, but the little shoe ones are so cute.

  • Target brand works well for us.  Size 0-6 mos.  They stay on and are $1 for a pair.

  • Some reviews on Trumpette socks say that they run small?  some complained that their LOs are only 3mo but the socks (0-12m) are already too small?

  • I like Carters socks. I never fold them though, I stretch them all the way up like stockings. I find doing that and then putting their pants on over that helps a ton. I just got some Old Navy socks and I hate them...the foot seems huge on them and they're constantly falling down even if I stretch them up.

I have the Trumpette socks too and they stay on really well.

  • Robeez no slip socks and Trumpette are the only ones we like.  They're cute and actually stay on!
  • Trumpette are by far the best! They are the only ones that actually stay on and they are the cutest also.

  • I have trumpette but they already seem to be getting small. My LO has big feet though. I have old navy ones and they stay on the best.

    Same for us.

Us too.  I can't remember what the brand is, but we always buy them at Target for DS1. They may even be Carters??

  • I know that tons of people recommend trumpette, but they didn't work for DS1. He has thick, wide feet and he had chubby calves as a baby, so almost nothing stayed on him. The best for that situation was children's place in about 2 sizes bigger that what he wore in clothes.
