kirkland diapers?

I received some of these costco brand diapers as hand-me-downs, they were size 1-2 and i think they were too small by the time I broke them out.  Needless to say, we had a few accidents, so I stopped using them.

I'm wondering if they size was the problem, or if they might just suck?  I liked the tabs, and they look very similar to the huggies kind.  Does anyone have experience?

Thanks!

Re: kirkland diapers?

  • I personally have never used them. A friend of mine told me to stay away from them as she had issues with leaks with her lo.

  • It's our TOP choice for diapers! My SIL also has used them for the last two years! We LOVE them!!! A lot!
I first saw the recommendation for them here on TB! We began using them when we got out of newborns. They are incredible!

  • We like them and don't have any issues with leaks.

  • I used them w/DS1 (who is now 5) and they were exactly the same as Huggies Supreme (at that time). I never had leak issues or anything, and loved them. No idea if they've changed b/c we use cloth and no longer have a Costco Membership!

  • It was probably the size. I was given a pack of that same size and they were great, just like huggies. You can request a free sample of them from the Costco site in a large size to test them out even if you are not a member

This is genius! I really wanted to try some, but they only sell them in large quantities...contacting for samples now!

  • We use Kirkland's for our toddler DD in a size 6. And switched LO DS into them when he moved to a size 3 at about eight weeks. They're great! They'll be sharing diapers soon at this rate - LO is about to move to size 4 and he's only hitting three months on the 20th. Lordylord. Boys and girls are different. At any rate, love the brand, the price, and the quantity.

We used them for DD1 and are using them for the girls. I really like them and the cost.
Costco is great with returns as well. If you decide after a few days they aren't working, they will return the box no problem.

  • Thank you for the replies!  Unfortunately, they no longer do the free samples, but I think I'm just going to go for it.  I think I will get the size 3's.  I'm not a member, but my mom is, so I didnt want to bother her unless it was worth it.  But they are significantly less expensive than huggies or pampers, or kirkland through amazon.  I dont know why I didnt bargain shop with DS1 (who still wears diapers, another issue).

  • I like the Kirkland diapers but we bought the Huggies this time because they are on sale on Costco.com for 31.99.
  • We got some at our baby shower and I swear by them. We haven't had any leaks yet in them and they're cheaper than Huggies or Pampers, which is an added bonus :)
