I tried it today with dd with abut of cinnamon cut into strips. She's got no teeth so I was nervous but you guys are right. She mashed it all up no probs!

Awesome! DS loves toast with peanut butter, and even just a little butter spread on there to make it less dry.

I've smeared plain fruit puree's on her toast before. Unsweetened apple sauce, home made peaches or pears, banana, etc.

Smuckers makes a fruit spread called "simply fruit" that has no sugar. That's what we use and DD loves it.

We do this. She loves purees on toast, or on waffles or pancakes.
