Give me your baby shower ideas!

It's been a while since we talked baby showers. I need ideas for my sister's baby shower. She's having her 2nd girl. I call this a baby shower for simplicity, but it's really just a get together with family and 2 close family friends.

Perviously, we had a "clothes line" theme going (as far back as the first child in this generation who is now 8). I think it's time to do something different. Any ideas are welcomed!

    Pinterest is your friend. :-) So many ideas on there. what is she doing for the nursery? You could do the theme going off of that. 

    I also like themes that are based off of nursery rhymes or lullabies. I threw a shower for a good friend that was a Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star theme. I had white Christmas lights up, a star banner with baby pictures of the guests (for a Guess the Baby game), silver and light blue balloons, etc. My own shower wasn't a theme, just a small get together at a nice restaurant with appetizers, pretty flower arrangements and that is it. I think for a second shower, you don't have to go all out like a first shower unless you want to. :-)

    A friend and I are throwing a 'shower' for 2 friends of ours who are due a month abart. We're going to decorate onsies......but I'm also considering bibs too. May be cheaper, and used more. We're also have a hot chocolate bar, and possibly a timed diaper changing game.

    Hi, I posted some game ideas on the "baby shower" board. One is a gift BINGO, and another is a candy bar guessing game. Give out clues, and guess the corresponding candy bar. That is a really fun game that everyone loved to play, especially at a co-ed shower. I love planning parties!!!!
