Food Poisoning

in Toddlers: 24 Months+
Well, I was worried about room sharing, but now my little man is throwing up:( I am pretty sure it is food poisoning. He doesn't have a fever and seems to be ok, other than very sad about barfing all over his blankie. He can't keep anything down though, not even water. Any suggestions on easing his suffering?

    No, but I am sorry he is sick :( Gatorade in small quantities until he can keep more down?

    If he continues throwing up, it's probably stomach flu not food poisoning. Of course, either way it sucks. Sorry to hear. Make sure to wash your hands constantly so you don't get it. I feel so bad for your little man. I would wait a little bit for his stomach to settle before giving him anything. Obviously, you don't want him to dehydrate, but if nothing is staying down.. Maybe ice chips in a little while? Sips of water? I hope he fees better ASAP!

    Thanks Everyone! He is much better today. We were up till about 5am last night, but he slept till about 1 today and seems to be doing much better. We have already had a couple wet diapers and eaten a few saltines and drank a cup of water, so I think he is over the worst of it. Seeing your kiddo sick is one of the saddest things :(
