This pregnancy is killing me, I can't even get it up to tell people they are being stupid. From now on, when you guys post, can you say that it's from me too?
I did not read the entire thing, but within the first few threads I don't understand why a "gender reveal" is a bad idea. - - - She's disappointed in the results but what makes the gender reveal in front of others bad?

No, she says she's not upset, that it is their families that are. Hence, a gender reveal would be awful since none of them are excited about the sex of the new baby.

I would hate it if my family were upset about the results, too.
Well, I'll bet you that part of the reason her family is so upset is that she and her DH probably made a big production of "WE WANT A GIRL!!!!!". So everyone got on board w/ that, and then boom - it didn't happen.

She should look on the bright side. Just because her baby is a boy sexually doesn't mean he'll automatically identify as one. She could still have a child whose gender is female.
Love it! The missuse of sex vs gender is a pet peeve.
Also, if my family was SO insistent that they wanted a boy or a girl, I'd junk punch them. What a douchey thing to do. My dad has already says he wants a grandson at some point because his girlfriend has 3 granddaughters and I said, "welp, not something I can control or care about that much."

And she just keeps avoiding the question! I don't get it.
