Looking for pics for WOW this morning I realized I haven't AWed Benjamin in a really long time! We also haven't checked in with the rest of the J12 big sibs in a while, so I say it's time. How is everyone adjusting now, 6ish months later? Anyone having issues with the biggun's that we could maybe help with (or at least share in your misery)? And of course, share some pics of what they've been up to!
Here are some of Ben's most recent shenanigans:
Story time at the library with his buddy "other Ben" (my Ben is the one scratching his butt)
The snowman he made himself, because he couldn't get it to roll into balls. He was SO PROUD of this!
And some good ole water/cornstarch/washable paint slime fun! (Note: "washable" is a relative term. It came out of our skin and our clothes, but not my table. My table is green. Such is life, eh?)
Re: STM check-in/AW time!
We took DD to the American Girl Doll store & the Cheesecake Factory in STL with 2 of her friends for her 6th birthday... It was so cute, they all brought their dolls (and the restaurant had little highchairs for the dolls) It was a nice "no babies allowed" kind of day, with all the attention on her.
Oh man, I'm so sorry to hear all this. I'm wishing we were real life friends yet again, this time so I could give you a break! Big hugs, mama. Hang in there.
OMG this is the cutest thing ever! My H is going to die when she gets to this age.

DH went with us, too, at the princess' request. He put on a good face about it all but he kept whispering things to me like "WTH $50 for an OUTFIT we might as well have another kid"... Haha, that shiz is ridiculously priced.
She WAS thrilled. I did the whole American Girl thing when I was younger, too. Did you collect the AG 'cards'? lol. My mom still has my binder with all my cards organized like baseball cards.
Here is my handsome boy:
Things have kinda been so so here. Austin has been really sick so sleep is kinda hit and miss. But he sleep all night last night, and he isn't weezing anymore and hardly coughing. Cale has started to get out of that terrible two tantrum kick, but now it's a case of when he tell him to do something you get told 'No' talk about frustrating mama to no end.
Cale is behaving a little better but it just kinda depends on the day. He loves his little brother though he tries very hard to help me with Austin all the time, and Austin couldn't be more happy about his brother, and loves when Cale sits and plays with him.
Kelly, hang in there!! You know it always comes around to getting better. Until then... a prescription of chocolate and wine for you!
Owen is doing so much better in the behavior department. He's back to his agreeable, hilarious self. I can't even handle how much I love this kid.
Chef Owen:
His 3rd birthday last month was a Daniel Tiger/My Gym party... he was a fan of his cake:
Here's the Daniel Tiger cake I made him:
And swimming with Daddy:
This is true for us too. This age is awesome for that! The little ones are completely fascinated by the big kids and the big kids get a major kick out of entertaining the babies. Love it!
