I may have asked this before and my apologies if I did...I got DH a garmin 910xt for Christmas (for anyone training for tris, he is absolutely in love with this thing...and I saved about $75 off of retail getting it on ebay). Anyway, he gave me his old watch - it's a sportsline and a heartrate monitor. I'd like to get something more suited to me and what I do and looking for suggestions. I'm a beginner runner (and when I say beginner, I am about to wrap up week two of c25k...so yes, that much of a rookie), but love the other cardio machines (lately it is a love affair with a precor crossramp), spin twice a week, do bootcamp and a kettlebell class along with other various odds and ends. I just bought a pair of Nike Air Max running shoes so of course they have that little pod space and it seems like there are lot of different options to go along with this...
Have you stayed with me through all of that? Do you have any suggestions for me?
Re: HRM/Sports watch
I have a Nike Sportwatch.
If I were to buy all over again, I would buy the attachment Nike makes to go with my Ipod (instead of a $200 watch). They also have a heartrate attachment that can go together as well.
