Classes started for me yesterday again. I took a half a semester off last semester because work, school, parenting, and first tri exhaustion was too much. This time time I'm taking less (3-4 credits each 8 weeks), but can still use some support from other PG ladies.
What are you working toward?
What classes are you taking?
How much time do you have left in your college sentence?
I'm working toward a bachelors in nursing, already have an associates in nursing and a bachelors in education. I'm taking an advanced assessment course and a "nursing concepts" course (almost an intro to nursing theory). At this rate that I'm going, I have about 18 months left, but may speed it up once I become a SAHM again.
Re: Where are my student moms at?
I'm in school. however I am taking my sweet time. 1 - 2 classes a semester. This semester I only enrolled in 1 class because I was worried I might overload myself.
I am working towards my A.S in Business with a focus in Management.
Probably another 2 years since I am going at my super slow pace. >.<

BTW: I seem to be lucky. School starts back for me next Wednesday.
And I'm figuring, stock up on classes now. It will be easier while my baby is contained.
I will tell you from experience, it's better to take it slow that to overload yourself. I earned my two degrees at the same time while SAH with my son toward the end. It took my 9 years to finish them both (in the same semester). I thought I was so done with school for a looong time, but found out it's better to get it over with now.

Class starts for me tomorrow. I am dreading the entire idea- mostly because I go to class after a full day of work and class goes until 9:30PM! Most nights I am asleep on the couch by that time!
Anywho, I am working towards my Masters in Educational Technology. I already have a bachelors in English Lit and one in Education- so it was a long road of schooling behind me and I am looking forward to the end. I am taking my final class this semester, so as least I only have the one to worry about. Then I will graduate in the beginning of May- when I will be a lovely 8 months pregnant!
Good luck to you other students!
I also decided (wisely) to take 1st tri off from taking any classes. There is no way I would have made it--I was EXHAUSTED and worthless this time around.
I am working on my MBA, online. My company pays for it (but there is a limit/per year) so I only take 3 classes a year. The classes are 6 weeks long and 3 credit hours each.
I'm trying to decide whether to take Business Law or Quantitative Reasoning next. I am excited for neither of them. I am about a quarter of the way done, I should be able to graduate at the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015 at the rate I'm going.
GL to you!

I'm working towards my BBA in Operations Management. I was going to take this semster off but I figure it would be harder to take classes after baby so I'm taking 4 management courses.
After baby, god willing, I'll only need 2 more semesters

Working towards BA-Elementary Edu
Not registered at the moment, took time off to focus on my pg as well as starting a new job.
2.5 years tops left
You're not alone! It can be tricky... I'm a little worried about how it will go after the baby comes.
I'm working towards my Masters in Education, and I'm doing it course-by-course, like you. I'm also working part-time. I have one course a semester, but I'm supposed to do two this summer, and I've already had to change that.
I'll be done in the spring of 2015.
Hope you're enjoying your program! My mom and SIL are nurses, and I've heard it can be a very rewarding job. Also, it seems they always need nurses! Good pick!
In the mean time, this semester I am taking the last of my general ed classes needed to graduate. One of the classes I'm taking is womens health which should be interesting while pregnant lol. The other class is a computer competency class which should be fairly easy. My biggest issue with school this semester is thatfinals end June 6th and im due the 13th. My ob said we will schedule my csection for that following Monday, so im hoping this little girl stays put until then.

For my bachelors in education and BSN, I did/doing it through an online college with a brick and mortar campus (that I only saw once, my graduation day last May). Education, no offense to anyone, was a piece of cake. I had a 4.0, and didn't find it difficult. The nursing classes are a lot harder though. Lots more group work, presentations, and reading. I had to drop my classes during the last 8 weeks because it was too much to handle (I was also taking 6 classes). I'm hoping that since I'm per diem now (so make my own schedule for the most part) and we technicality don't rely on my income, that I can finish. I also am taking less, but still haven't found my student groove since graduating.
I love peds/maternity. Wasn't the class I did the best in, and wasn't fond of the teacher, but I want to be a school nurse. I love kids.
GL to the others, especially the other nursing student!
