  • My first record was Sharon, Lois and Bram.  My dad just found this and many other children's records when he was going through his collection.  He bought a thing for the computer to convert records to digital recordings, so Lily's gonna get to listen to all of them!

The first tape other than children's songs that I remember having was actually a copy of a mix tape my brother made.  It had songs like Let's Talk About Sex, I Wanna Sex You Up, etc.  I was 6.  Hmm

My first CD was the soundtrack to Sound of Music.  I was cool, can't you tell?  I also remember that when my dad first bought a CD player he got a Beatles CD for it.  That was our only CD for quite a while, and I still love listening to it.

  • I think I was 11 and got LL Cool J's Mr. Smith cd. My parents were so embarrassed by the songs on there. I was only allowed to listen to it in my room and none of my friends where allowed to listen to it with me. I also wasn't allowed to repeat any of the words.
