I almost punched a mother in the RE's office

So DH and I were in the waiting room waiting for an IUI. It was a really busy IVF day so we were waiting for a long time and the waiting room was packed...

So this other patient's mom sits down next to us on the couch and immediately starts coughing without covering her mouth, wiping snot on her sleeve!!!, sneezing on the magazine, etc. There weren't any other seats for us to move to though.

So I just try to turn away from her, then she started talking loud enough for the whole waiting room to hear. She kept saying stuff like "all these people in this waiting room....just a bunch of dollar signs to the doctors," "these people just need to go home and go to bed with their husbands and it will eventually work," "i can't believe how much money people are wasting just because they just don't wait a little longer to get pregnant," "at least get me a glass of water (to daughter)....they should really have more food and drinks to offer in the waiting room with all this money people are wasting here."

And her daughter didn't even say anything to her or tell her to STFU! She was even laughing at some of the crap her mom said and was just complaining about the wait because she had other things to do that day. Everyone was giving the mom dirty looks, but nobody said anything to her. I wanted to so bad, but I'm just not the type of person to tell off a stranger. Now I regret not saying something to her.
