  I would think you would be okay since your appointment is today. Do you know what they planned on doing though? Maybe you could call to give them a heads up incase they want to squeeze you in for an u/s.

  They are just doing the ultrasound this visit, for viability since I lost the first one. I don't think they even have me scheduled to meet with the doc this time.

  Brown spotting is usually ok red is where I would be more worried. Lots of good thoughts for you! I hope your appt goes well!

  Cramping and spotting are normal in early pregnancy. as long as the cramping isn't located just on one side and there is no bright blood.

  When I was pg with my son I had a day and a half of red brown and red spotting -- so much so that I thought my period was starting and put in a tampon. When it stopped completely the next day I was baffled and took a test. Your uterus is growing and expanding so cramping and spotting is very normal! Thinking about you!

  Thanks ladies. I know I'm being a major worry wart right now. Comes with a previous loss I suppose. It's just about time for my appt, and I'm praying I'll be able to come back with good news for you all.

  Late to the party, but brown spotting is usually okay - it means it's old blood, the bright red stuff is what you need to worry about. Any news at your appointment??
