Well Hello, Mastitis...again...

This is no more than just to vent...I have mastitis - AGAIN! I got it the week before Christmas, but I woke up to nausea, headache, high fever, and a boob that was hot, red, and felt like a ton of bricks. Luckily this time I was able to recognize the feeling in my boob and haul off to the dr to catch it early before the other symptoms caught up. Had a low fever by the time I got to the dr. On top of that, I have my first yeast infection in 2 years...grr!!!

But on the bright side, I was nervous that I may have been preggo, so I asked if they would check - negative!!

This morning I have a low grade fever, I'm pumping now and will have to do so every 2 hours for the next week, but luckily everything that's wrong is treatable. I'm tired from pumping in the MOTN, I don't feel like going into kindergarten, but I feel well enough that I think I should go (in case it gets worse tomorrow). I just didn't want to have to go through this again!! (
