LNCI

It's 2 am on the west coast and DS just woke up after sleeping for 7 hours! The down side is now he thinks it is morning and time to be up.

QsOTN: who is your favorite author/ what is you favorite book/series?

In 6th grade I was introduced to Louis Lamour because I had a high reading level and refused to read fantasy like Narnia. Fast forward to now, I have all of his westerns. Now I will read just about anything!

  • It's three thirty and Mina is chowing down. She fell asleep a little earlier than usual so I'm not really surprised she woke up when she did.

I love Roald Dahl's books, especially his books for children. I've read some of his adult stuff and I prefer the kid stuff. I remember when he died and I was so sad there wouldn't be any more stories. I think I had just started second grade.

As far as series go I really loved Jonathan Stroud's Bartimeaus Trilogy. I read it a few years ago and I think it's time for a refresher.

CRey, have you read anything by Zane Grey? He writes westerns too, I read Riders of the Purple Sage during my freshman year of college.

Qotn: my mom really got me into Terry McMillan I think that's his name, the Black romance novelist. Anywho, I loved his books. Haven't picked up any new ones, my fave is Cream in my Coffee. You can imaging lol. My fave series currently is House of Night. I'm like 3 books behind but I an determined to get it together. I miss reading more than hooked on phonics. Blah, motherhood lol.

  • It's 3:30 on the west coast and DS is up for the 2n time. I don't know what's up with him! Anyways....
QOTN: I don't really have a favorite author though I've read every single book in the Stephanie plum series by Janet Evanovich so I guess that would mean I like her writing style. I also loved the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. The way she made up this new world was amazing. I loved the Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins and yes, I read them before the hype/movies began. I've also really enjoyed Divergent and Insurgent by Veronica Roth. So looking forward to when the third in this trilogy comes out!

  • It's 6am and ds decided it was the perfect time to get up. I guess that's because he went to bed super late! And of course, he woke up 6 damn times last night.

I love Agitha Christie and her murder mysteries! I haven't read all of them, but I have read quite a few.

  • I am never going to sleep again. Before we were going to move, we had planned to do an overnight trip for our anniversary in June. But now that we won't have family nearby, that's not going to happen. I would have gotten sleep then. TBH I might have been more excited about the sleep than the sex.

Anyway, my favorite author is either Muriel Spark or Clare Morral. They're both wonderful storytellers and really dark in different ways.
