Mobile Bumpers: Six degrees of separation

You know how everyone in the world is supposed to be six "steps" (people) away from every one else? Do you know how you are connected to anyone famous?

Me: One of our branch managers plays poker (step 1). He has actually been to the World Series these past few years. He even made it into the main event last year. At his table was Rene Angelil (step 2), who is Celine Dion's (step 3) manager.

Celine Dion has met just about everyone famous on the planet, so I say I am only 4 steps away from about half the celebrities of the world. lol

She does - I am not disputing that.

Cool! However, I know him as her creepy husband. Didn't they hook up when she was a teen and he... Well a lot older?

I know he took her under his wing when she was like 13, but they didn't hook up until much later, I believe.

Well, since she's from Quebec, people often expect me to be in awe of all her stuff. And then some people think that just because I'm not a fan of the genre means I think she sucks. So I have to defend my non-love for Celine on a fairly regular basis. lol
