I have felt kinda weird the last few days. Had some spotting, weird cramps, and an upset tummy. I was at the gym today on the treadmill and i had to stop because my stomach just felt so "off." (It was making me cropdust the people behind me so i had to get the F out of there!). I got my period back 5 months postpartum and I am now 8 months PP, and my cycles have been pretty irregular so far so i am not sure when i ovulated. DH and i only had sex once this month so its not very likely that im preggo...but i cant help but wonder because i feel so weird!! We do want to TTC in about a year, but my new insurance plan's maternity coverage doesnt kick in until next year so i really hope im not preggo.....
Re: preggo??
Thanks Captain Obvious!!!
This made me laugh so hard!
Surely you knew what responses you were going to get. This is the obvious action if you think you're pregnant.
Yes. Taking a test is the obvious action if i think im pregnant. It's a good thing someone told me to do that, otherwise I would just wander around in circles!
Well, then why the post? Just so you could say preggo excessively?
Is preggo not allowed on a website devoted to pregnancy? oops my bad
Prego is a pasta sauce. I'm assuming you're an adult, why use words that make it sound like you belong on 16 and pregnant?
I dont watch that crap, so I am not sure if thats a compliment or an insult....im going to assume compliment. Yippee!!!
"I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always.
As long as I'm living,
my baby you'll be."
Dang, y'all!! Sounds like she was just trying to vent her worries about possibly being pregnant...I was worried too for a second there. I have Paraguard but haven't had a period yet because I'm still breastfeeding. I went in to get checked out for round two of mastitis and had them check to see if I was PG just to ease my mind It was negative. *wipes brow*
I say preggo too - don't know why, just like the word.
) I WISH I was 16 still, but 27 will have to do. We did the now totally overdone birth announcment picture where we held up a sign that says "we are..." next to a bottle of Prego with our mouths wide open! It was kinda cute. But now way overdone.
Anyway, beany, since it doesn't sound like you're thrilled about the idea, I hope the test said negative and that you start to feel better soon!
Thought this was funny...but as far as my father is concerned, my pregnancy was immaculate conception...hehe!
Thanks Brennarobbie : ) I would actually be kinda happy if i was PREGGO. The reason i would hope for a negative test is due to the insurance issue...but we can afford to pay out of pocket since Im using a birthing center this time around. Of course, it would be better if insurance covered it, but its not a huge issue if it doesnt. As for people telling me to get on birth control if i dont want to be pregnant, we practice natural family planning because i cant take hormonal birth control. i cant function on it, personal details i dont need to go further into. But since my cycles are so wonky right now im not sure if our "safe" dates were right. And yes i am aware that condoms exist. But natural family planning worked for us for 7 years before conceiving DD so why change our method? Unexpected things happen though, thats life. Still have to wait another week to take a test i think.
