I helped with the desserts for my co-worker's monkey themed baby shower. It was a smaller event, probably only 20 or so people, and we reserved the patio of the MTB's favorite restaurant. I made monkey cake pops and banana cupcakes, the tables were decorated with brown table clothes, green paper plates, green balloons tied around the corners of the patio with brown ribbon & circular cardboard monkey printables as the centerpieces. We sprinkled banana runts on the table tops mixed with blue and green confetti. I thought it was a cute set up, and not over done.
Re: monkey theme
You're right. I'd check on what the due date is and schedule the party well before that.
I puffy heart you too...with glitter! LOL
I'm loving the snark here too...'bout time things got back to normal.

And check pintrest (if this even a real post). I always find cute ideas there.
