I'm from Michigan and my DH is from Illinois. Now we are both in Indiana. I'm a firefighter/paramedic and he is a K9 officer. We do dog training on the weekends. We go trap shooting. Since it's cold outside we are DIY finishing our basement. I hate drywall!!
Thanks for for doing the check-in ladies!!

*~God gives his hardest battles to his toughest solders. Unknown.
Status: I am stopping BCP on the 18th. I started the Lupron shots last night. DH was helping me and it was a gong show and actually more thant a little painful for all the fumbling and such. I may have to give those to myself. Not that I think I can do better, just so that I have no one else to blame! But DH needs the practice, because I don't think I can muster enough courage to give myself the PIO.
We are tenativiely scheduled for a FET the 2nd week of February. We are using DE.
QOTD: DH and I are weekend warriors gone AWOL. Our hobbies are starting home renovation and redecorating projects which we never seem to finish. New couch was delivered on the weekend. The old one is sitting on it's back with the legs removed in the middle of the kitchen, which is still not finished. The list goes on. ahaha. oh well.

Hello Ladies!
Well, if all goes well, we are looking at FET #1 around the last week of February! I had a saline sono this morning and all looked good and my RE estimated me to be about CD 8 or 9 today, so now we just wait for AF, hopefully she shows up on time, and we got the green light to proceed with our first FET as soon as she shows
As for my DH and I, we both work in restaurants. I serve in fine dining, which I love!, and he runs a sports bar. DH also coaches high school wrestling in the winter, he was a very good wrestler in high school himself, and he loves being back in the gym with the kids. We live in Norfolk, VA which is a much more interesting place in the summer and I am already looking forward to it!
Good Luck ladies!

Hello! This is the third time DH and I were *supposed to* start a cycle. Fingers crossed that this one is for real. All my meds are ordered so there's no going back now, right?
We've been ttc since August 2010; this is IVF #1 for us. We're severe MFI, so adding ICSI too. I start Lupron on Jan. 26th.
GTKY: I'm a therapist, DH is does business management. We're both into fixing up the house and hanging out the friends. DH also loves pool and anything that can be turned into an excel spreadsheet. I'm a fan of anything crafty- sewing, crochet, painting, photography...
Good luck everyone!
I took my last BCP on sat and have a baseline and u/s tomorrow. As long as they pharmacy has compounded the viagra I'll be good to start that day.
DH and live in Houston, TX. He is a rigger for a crane company and I for many years ran the OR for a veterinary specialists. Orthopedics was my favorite but since this IF journey can be quite hard on the body and time consuming I had to give it up for a little while. It became to hard to work 16hr days on the days that IF was making me feel like crap and it wasnt fair to my team members. So thankfully my parents own their own companies and just happened to need some help. They own a Exxon station/ convienent store, mini storages, and a propane company. My mom has ran all 3 by herself for 12 years and she was ready for some help. So I do all the office duties for all 3 companies. Im not used to paperwork so sometimes I want to shoot my foot off to get out of this office but on the otherhand working for your parents has its perks. We both enjoy fishing and mudding, boating, campfires, going to the zoo/aquarium. We are very family oriented, so we spend a lot of time with the family. DH hunts, golfs, and loves him some football. I enjoy quilting, sewing, cooking, and playing Bingo on my Ipad is my new obsession.
Good luck ladies!
And thanks to Daisly and Liz4paws for taking on the checkin, let me know if I can help in any way.
Hi ladies! I'm so excited for our first check-in! Good luck to all of my fellow Hopeful Hearts!
Status Update: I am doing FET #1 with five special "snowflakes" (we are transfering two) that we adopted from an incredible couple in Virginia who received them as a batch of anonymous donor embryos themselves. Our story is on my blog link in my siggy. I just stopped BCPs and have been on lupron for nine days now. My first monitoring and lab work appointment is this Friday and our ET date is set for Feb 8.
QOTD: I work as an IT Manager for an investment & securities firm and DH is a Web Marketing manager for an anti-fraud firm and he is also a volunteer firefighter/EMT. I love crafts, pinterest, cooking/baking, animal welfare, DIY projects, and spending time with my family. DH loves cooking, sports, DIY, weather stuff (we even have a weather station in our backyard lol), and emergency medicine.
I'm cheering for each and every one of you! *hugs*

Yay! First check-in!
I am currently on OCPs, last pill scheduled for the 21st and due to start stims on the 25th for IVF#2 in February. Never made it to transfer last time, so hoping for a better outcome this time around!
DH and I are in south Florida, though I'm originally from NY. DH does construction and I'm an OBGYN. I'm kinda crafty, myself and DH is a bit of a techie and likes to mess with computers. We have been doing a lot of home improving lately and our most recent project is working on our backyard.
Good luck to all my fellow hopefuls! Hoping to find ourselves ALL on PAIF soon!

Transfer of 2 5-day blasts and (FINALLY) BFFP!! 1st ultrasound shows two sacs and two HB, but one is sluggish, almost expecting vanishing twin Subsequent ultrasound confirmed vanishing twin, but my other Little critter looks fantastic!

Hi Ladies!! I'm so excited to get this started!!
Status: Being suppressed for FET #2. We will be transferring one of our 4 embies we have left after PGS, so that means these embies have been frozen twice, which makes me nervous. Started Lupron on 1/6, Stopped BCP 1/5. I have my baseline this Thursday. Right now, the tentative ET is 2/6. This cycle I'm seeing a chiropractor and will be adding Acupuncture and getting a massage before ET. FX this cycle will give us our healthy take home baby. Stats are in my siggy, and stories are in my blog linked in my siggy as well.
QOTD: I was a manager for a Coach Store, but ended up leaving almost a year ago now in order for us to do IVF. Working retail was just not going to mix well with all the appointments and injections and having a very unset schedule. Thankfully, we've been able to make it this far. DH works in the wireless technology field and loves it. He travels a lot for work too. We have one furbaby, our Puggle Winston who is 6 years old. He's my baby! I'm into photography and I do have my own photography business, but it's not really that big, and I like it that way. Both DH and I also play volleyball and love to travel. I like DIY stuff and trying to decorate the house and cooking. DH is a nerd and loves computers and android devices.
let's get this party started!
i will have my fet #2 on february 1st, on estrace now. we are transferring our last two frosties.
beta will be on 2/11
qotd: i am a biochemistry professor and mh is an x-ray tech and we live in the middle of nowheresville-illinois. we are up for about anything and love to visit cities when we can. i eat gluten free and love ethnic food.
good luck everyone!
Praying unceasingly for a miracle. ALL welcome!
I started BCP and baby aspirin on Dec 29th. Started Lupron this past Saturday and a week of antibiotics on Sunday. They are having me do an extra week of Lupron since my RE will be out of the office the first week of Feb. It was either that or wait until my next cycle. My baseline is scheduled for Jan 30. Supposed to start stims on Fed 4th with ER approx Feb 13-15.
We are from Des Moines, IA. We both just started new jobs this past fall doing insurance. We both worked retail for many many years, so it's nice to finally have our nights and weekends off for the first time in years. We play sand volleyball in the summer, and just hang out around the home watching movies and whatnot. I love working out and DH is a computer gamer. We have 2 chihuahuas (photo below) that can't wait to be big brother/sister someday.

Dh's job is an educational television producer for the public schools. His real passion is his side business where he is more creative in his video, editing, music, ect. He's currently working on music for a feature length film ( no one famous is involved.)
My job is an Educational Director of a preschool. My hobbies include reading, shopping, and being lazy!
I work as a Director in a preschool...hard to give tours to expectant moms all day isn't it? Which center are you at?
Sending you a PM in a few

Hi Ladies!! I intro'd over the weekend and am very excited to be joining you all. Our plan is to do IVF #2 in Feb. Right now I am just waiting for AF to start which should be around 2/1 and if all looks good we will be starting stims on the 2nd or 3rd.

Hi and good luck ladies! So we hit a little road block. My pre-IVF bloodwork came back showing that I'm a carrier for cystic fibrosis. Just my luck. DH was then tested... his results are still pending. If he's negative, we will continue on as planned. If he's positive, our cycle gets stopped and we have a whole new issue. Praying for good news.
RE is letting me start BCP tomorrow while we wait on DH's result over the next few days. Lupron should start on the 30th. Fingers crossed!

Hello ladies! This is our first IVF cycle. I am currently on the pill and scheduled for my sono and trial transfer the week of January 28th. ER and ET planned for the week of February 18.
My husband and I have been married for almost 10 years and TTC for 6 of them. In an unusual way, I think it made our marriage stronger. We live in PA. I am a manager of an engineering group and hubby works in the family remodeling and construction business.
I'm so excited to have this great support group and I only hope I can contribute as much as this has helped me already.
Hi, all! This is my third IVF cycle. After unexplained infertility/slight DOR the issue that showed up in my past IVF cycles was immature eggs. Of 16 total eggs retrieved over 2 IVF cycles, only 1 egg was mature. :-( Heartbreaking. We're trying yet another protocol this time, plus they'll put my eggs straight into in vitro maturation medium. So we'll see if any of that does any good. I'm starting estrogen patch and Ganirelix on January 22 and then stims about a week later, in late Jan. or early Feb. Good luck to all the ladies here!
I am a lawyer and live in NYC (Brooklyn, as you might have guessed). My husband is in finance. We love the outdoors, our goofy cats, food, old-fashioned-y cocktails, art and architecture, and seeing live music.
One back to you!
Hi ladies,
This is our second IVF as our first one resulted in a very early miscarriage 2 weeks ago. I had my baseline this morning and I am free of cysts and then my HCG was 1 today and my estrogen was 44. I start bc pills tonight. It looks like my ER will be around my 30th birthday which is Feb 15th. We are doing an estrogen priming protocol. My meds should be here on Friday.
QOTW : We have been married going on 2 years. I work in home health care as a caregiver to senior citizens and then I am also a government contractor for the Army National Guard and Army Reserve. So I travel quite a bit which I love and then my husband works in the medical field as well. He works for Baxter healthcare. When I am not working I enjoy doing crafts and playing on facebook. I am also a huge St. Louis Cardinal fan and can't wait to attend a game this summer. We live in Northern Arkansas.

hi there! I'm in the Miramar area. I did clerk ships @ Broward general. How much longer for you? Are you returning to this area when you finish?
3 Clomid IUIs -- BFNs
IVF #1 never made it to transfer
On "egg health" cocktail DHEA/CoQ10/FRC/Pregnitude/Melatonin
Starting IVF #2 for Feb 2013
Follistim/Menopur/Ganirelix
Cancelled mid-cycle due to high P4 levels early on.
OCPs again for IVF 2.5 mid-March. IVF 2.5 transferred two "gorgeous" 5-day blasts and BFFN. Even REI is baffled
On indefinite hold until a huge stroke of serendipity led me to IVF 3 May 2014
Testing found positive cardiolipins/APS, now on lovenox and intralipid infusions

I was born at Broward General
I have 2.5 years left (the child fellowship added an extra year on). I'll probably stay around Tampa. My parents have talked about getting a second place over here if we start having kids. I have friends that live over in Fort Lauderdale and went to an RE and had IVF. It worked the first time for them and they have twins. What about you, are you an attending and staying in Miramar? I started off going to USF but when we went the IVF route, switched over to private. USF wasn't very good with working with my schedule, plus their success rates are lower. The new RE has 7:15 monitoring appointments so I don't have to block my clinic schedule.

Ladies ... Big thank you for coordinating us this month! I hope this month brings all of what we have hoped and dreamed for.. that BFP.
This is IVF #1.2 for us. My cycle is December was cancelled due to oversuppression/poor response to the medications. I will be on an antongonist protocol this time around so FX this works for us.
I am from South Carolina. Husband from Louisiana. We met while in Law School in New Orleans. Married and moved to the small oilfield/shipyard town he is from south of New Orleans.
