Is there a secret FB group?

Hi, I was on a secret Facebook group with my last pregnancy.  Does this site do them?

    Yes, but we are waiting a little while to get to know each other here first.  Usually starting a FB group this early adds a lot of extra drama because you don't know who is a crazy lurker.

    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    We came to a decision early on that we were going to wait a while to start any FB groups.  This group is still in it's beginning stages, which means there are still crazies and fakers out there and we need to weed them out before giving them access to personal information.

    My March 2012 group went to FB after we all had our babies and still had some crazies. The board then split to a 2.0 group and now is good again. I think it would be extremely premature to go to FB at this stage.

    My June 2011 BMB started one while we were pregnant and it fizzled. We started another awhile AFTER we all had our LOs and really "knew" each other and it's awesome. I hope we do the same...a long way away when I feel like I know you all.

    This may sound really stupid but why would a FB group be made if we can all chat here?  I didn't know this was common practice as this is my first baby

    I think a fb group would be easier to share pictures and articles but since I've been avoiding Facebook lately for my own sanity (all the pregnancy and birth announcements from people I barely knew while we were struggling) I feel like I would miss out if our group went to fb entirely and left the bump.  And with what earlier posters said, I was just thinking and hoping earlier today that everyone that had introduced themselves on this board needs to stay and we should get our take home babies, even if they aren't in the month of Sep but a couple weeks early or late, I'm rooting for all of us!

    I'm part of a fb for DD bmb and the ladies are very supportive. Few blow ups along the way but things are fantastic now.

    True story. They come out of the woodwork.  People you never expect to turn to the dark side- usually end up being the most BSC of all. I like the idea of group gmail w people you really like. Or even a phpbb3 board that is private so if someone does turn, we can easily block their IP address and our information is still protected.

    I would def wait til later on, at least halfway through before I would join. And I like that I am getting to recognize some of the ladies on here as sweet, helpful individuals and I hope when the group is made that they will be joining!

    And hopefully there will be some near me since there's no one in my friend circle TTC/pregnant/with kids
