potty training!!

I just started potty training DS!! He just turned 2 and I've been told I'm crazy for trying this early. He's somewhat interested. This is the 2nd day. I'm doing underwear during the day, diaper at night and naps. I'm gonna go hard core this weekend then just see how he's doing. We've had a ton of messes!! But we've only had 1 day down.
I'm pregnant and due in may. I'm just trying to give him a headstart.
Any suggestions!!

It depends on the kid. If he's not ready, then it's not going to matter how "hardcore" you go with it.

Very true!! He's done ok. He's starting to figure out that feeling he gets when he's fixing to pee or poop. One day at a time!!

So true. We tried with ds several times. He wasn't able to tell when he was wet. We tried again about two weeks ago and it's been great. I wouldn't push too much with how young your son is and let him be "in charge" of it.

I kinda have a similar situation. Due in aug. my son doesn't know when he has to go but tells me when he does. And when he goes on the pottywhich is every Time I ask him to he strains like he's pooping in order to pee. I'm wondering when he will figure it out. Sooner rather than after the baby comes would be nice. I know he will be good when he is ready.
