Any words of wisdom?

Hey ladies, I was hoping to see if any of you have experienced this before or may be able to offer some insight on what might be going on? I've been lurking and posting long enough to know better so just want to put it out there that in NO way am I asking "am I pregnant?!" lol, just seeing if this has happened to anyone else before.

So, my last AF was 12/17-12/23, and FF predicted I O'd around 12/31. I have been charting CM and it pretty much matched up with that O date. AF is generally like clockwork and I expected to start over night like always and wake up with her here yesterday morning as it's our first month TTC and I didn't expect to get pregnant the first month. No sign of her, BFN yesterday morning as well as this morning. However, charting my CM made FF change predicted period to 1/4 (which did not happen) and is saying fertile days are yesterday, today, and tomorrow with next O on Thurs. I also had EWCM yesterday and have it today. This happened to anyone else before? TIA

I guess I worded that wrong lol. I know I didn't really ovulate twice, just confused by symptoms?

I kinda got overwhelmed by all the words...but it sounds like FF gave you one date then changed it to a later date. You didn't O twice just later then you thought so you period will be later.

I guess just if anyone else gets EWCM twice in a cycle. I'm just always like clockwork and this has me a bit confused. Just wanting some advice, not trying to piss anyone off.

Im lost by that post but my best advice us that you can get fertile CM at any point during your cycle, sometimes multiples times. Just because you have fertile CM doesn't mean you will O you might have geared up to O last time and not actually done so. Some ladies tend to get ewcm right before their period, so that could be it too. But you don't O twice in a cycle.

You're always just like clockwork until the cycle you aren't. Cycles change and "always" and "never" aren't applicable. This has probably happened to you befote and if you weren't ttc you weren't as in tune with your body and didn't realize it.

Sorry, not trying to confuse anyone. Just confused myself and was hoping maybe this happened to others before. Thanks for your advice. I edited the post as I was trying to ask why FF would predict O days twice. I know I can't O twice. Hadn't thought about gearing up to and not...just seems late in the cycle for me. Thanks for your help!

Sorry, not trying to confuse anyone. Just confused myself and was hoping maybe this happened to others before. Thanks for your advice. Sounds like you may not have ovulated when ff "predicted" and that you may be ovulating now. This is why we encourage people to temp. It is hard to answer questions, or have sympathy for people who are confused, when you are the one who has chosen not to pursue fully knowing your cycle. If you had a chart with temps and cm we could easily give meaningful feedback.

Yes, I am trying to add my chart but I do FF on my phone now I can't remember my login to link it to the website. I definitely am going to start temping, got my thermometer over the weekend. Seems like it's going to be more help to me then just CM. Thank you ladies!

FF made a prediction about the day you would ovulate. It is only a prediction- not a fact. It makes a guess based on what you have entered and average data. After entering data for a few months it will get more accurate, but bodies are not machines and it could still guess wrong. It always strikes me as odd that women take what FF says as gospel, like it is somehow able to predict the future, and act shocked when their bodies don't cooperate.

I didn't read all the first post, but I'll just respond to this.

I get fertile CM all throughout my cycle - it's really not the best way to track your ovulation. Without temping/OPKs, it's really impossible to tell.

I have pantloads of EWCM right now. As you can see by my ticker, I am not about to ovulate.
