My heart hurts this week. We have had way too many losses and BFNs in our 2IF group. We have also had a wonder new group of women joining us. I hope for each of you to find the support and connections while you are here on this board.
Please forgive me if I missed anyone's update. We welcome every member (graduates, current, lurkers, newbies etc.) to post an update each week. This gives us all an idea of where you are in your cycle or how you're doing. This is such a great place to meet other women in similar circumstances to share experiences, cheer each other on, get info and offer support.
Huge Congrats to our BFP women; you give us all hope that this WILL work!

Re: *****2IF WEEKLY UPDATE******
QOTW: My new year's resolutions are to get healthier, not worry so much and to be a better mother, fiance, daughter, sister, friend and family member!
Rainbow Surprise Baby due 05/26/2017
As of right now we are waiting for the next week to come to see if I get AF or if I need to POAS. Hoping it is the latter of the two.
QOTW: One resolution is to work on losing weight to better my chance of pregnancy and the other was to keep up with my cleaning/ organization at home. I have a list for the week and I want to try to keep up more closely with it.
QOTW : I am trying to lose weight. I joined weight watchers.
I agree with Jeanna, too much sad news lately.
First off my thoughts and prayers go out to so many people on here this week!
Update: Still in my waiting game. I go on Thursday to see if there has been any development in the sac. In the meantime, I feel 2 people close to me are pg just around the same time and both are spotting. Makes it even harder to stay positive!
QOTW: My resolutions are to not worry so much (ha!) and to be a bit more organized in my life!
Update: transfer was yesterday. Now we wait.... Hoping this is the one!
QOTW: I didn't make any resolutions this year....
thoughts and prayers to all who need them.
QOTW: Trying to curb my personal shopping expenses. It got a little out of hand during the holidays.
MPZ born June 2011
TTC #2 ... Cycle 1-3: IUI = BFN | Cycle 4: IVF ... canceled but 3 snow babies
Cycle 5: FET .. BFP! | EDD - 3/15/2014
Good Luck to all and I hope the cming weeks bring lots of happiness and good news, even ifthey are not all BFP, that everyone gets to take some strides forward in this journey!
I am on CD7, tonight will be my 3rd dose of Clomid and I have u/s scheduled for Saturday so just anxiously awaiting that to see how my body is responding!
QOTW:
- get back on track with healthy eating habits, my weight has been creeping back up and I need to drop a few lbs (at least a few, prob more!)
- BUDGET and stick to it
- Try one new meal a month (ideally a week but let's aim for per month!)
- This is the year of Me! Well, me and my immediate little family. We need to stop traveling so much to be at anythign and everything and realize we don't live near our family and we cannot travel as much as we did last year, we had no life of our own. I started this off right by booking a trip to Disney World!
I had an hcg test this morning, waiting on the results. DH and I have an appointment with our RE this morning to discuss what is going on.
QOTW: No New Year's Resolution for me. I never stick to them.

I agree with Jeanna, too much sad news on this board. Sending T&P to those who need them, and rooting on those who are currently cycling! Here's hoping we get a nice crop of BFPs to start the new year off right!
Update: Graduated from the RE on Friday at exactly 8 weeks. Baby was measuring a few days ahead, and heartbeat was 167. I get to stop the estrace this Friday, and cut my PIO dose in half at that time, stopping altogether at 10w, at which point I am officially done with fertility treatment. I celebrate by going to my OB that day! Keeping FX for as uneventful a pregnancy as possible.
IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12

((Hugs)) to all those who need them!
Update: In the middle of our first IVF cycle. Today will be day 5 of stims. Next monitoring appointment is Thursday.
QOTW: I'm trying to be more positive in general (and IF related). I feel like I'm missing moments that are right in front of me, and I don't want to look back and wish I had enjoyed them more. Also, can't hurt to throw some positive karma out there!
My update:
headed to the RE for 1st monitoring apt for IVF #2 on Thursday. I am taking lupron and follistim twice a day and menopur in the am injection, this means 3 shots a day.... My poor belly already. I am not as excited this go round, more terrified than anything.
QOTW: I am also trying to be more positive and putting more fun things on the calendar and not letting myself sit at home depressed!

I've got my pom poms out to cheer you on this cycle, Jeanna. I really hope this protocol works for you. I was really pleased with my results from MDLF, aside from the obvious reason. Hopefully you'll get higher quality and quantity eggs/embryos, and most importantly that one will be your sticky baby.
My IRL IF friend I made at the clinic started stimming about the same time as you, and she's also on the MDLF protocol (her 2nd IVF attempt), so I'm hoping to hear good things from both of you this cycle. Please be sure to update, I look forward to hearing how things are going with you.
IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12

Right now im waiting for AF to start so i can go in for bloodwork and start on clomid for the first time. Im still nervous about it so hoping my dr can answer some questions when i go in.
I am sad to hear of the troubles on this check in, we need some happy stories
I am planning to start IVF/ICSI #3 at the end of March with a Microdose Lupron Flare protocol and no BCP with the same RE since DH's swimmers are there and I will not need to pay for additional tests. DH has not agreed yet but I am thinking positive and mentally starting to plan and look into costs, medication donations, etc. I plan on bringing this up with DH at the end of February when his work slows down a bit, he has a big project until then.
QOTW: Find a way to pay off college and grad school debt faster and get rid of medical debt from the last IVF and the D & C surgery that my insurance refuses to cover
I've been laying low for a while, but last week we returned to the RE for continued testing. I did cd3 b/w + u/s and I have a hysteroscopy on the 25th. For this cycle, I'm on BCPs b/c of the procedure on teh 25th. Not excited about the procedure with general anethesia or the BCPs, but I'm eager to have some answers and recommendations. Ultimately, I beleive we'll be able to start a treatment as early as next month, so I'm eager for that, too.
Good luck to everyone here and many T&Ps to those who need them.
Love, luck, and prayers to my BFPB Dr. SnowflakeBride
QOTW: A very general be healthier! Drink more water, eat better, exercise, and be positive :
Can I update again? My hcg rose to 70 from 58. Clearly not a viable pregnancy. They are pretty sure it is in my uterus because my lining is thick but there is always the possibility it could be in my tube. My RE's office wants me to take the pill to miscarry, cannot remember the name off the top of my head. I will be doing this tonight.
I spent 2 hours with both RE's I see at this practice. They were amazing and I felt they really cared. You have to understand I am a hospital administrator so I am the one that MD's complain to. So I don't always get to see this side of MD's.
One thinks I should repeat an HSG to check things out, the other doesn't think I have to. I saw them both at separate times. They both think this is really just a string of bad luck. DH and I had chromosonal testing done and that will be back in 2 weeks. I had a bunch of other tests done, I cant remember what they all are. I just know it was about 10 tubes. My Re's are pretty sure they will find nothing. They aren't even concerned about scar tissue from my c-section.
The good news is that they see no reason for us to wait. I will start back on injectibles as soon as my levels are back at 0.
I am so sad, but I need to move on. Looking forward to vacation with DH and DD in Savannah at the end of the month. I may even be O'ing at that time.

Prayers for all of those that need them (( Hugs ))
Update: I had my appointment last week, it appears my basic bloodwork came back fine, I have to wait 2 more weeks for the RPL and PCOS tests. Once AF comes I will schedule some more tests and DH will do SA. The only weird thing is the ultrasound showed I had not ovulated but the bloodwork taken about 3 minutes prior showed that I did. A little concerned my bloodwork maybe got mixed up, but my analysis of the blood test results was all courtesy of Dr. Google so I'm probably misunderstanding something.
Resolution: Drink more water!
Update: I start stims this Thursday for IVF #2 and go in for my next monitoring appointment on Monday. So far everything is already looking better than last cycle and it seems the BCPs did a much better job of suppressing everything. Praying that's a good sign.
