Target diapers

I use target diapers for my 21 month old and have for a long time.  Love them.  When he was a newborn, we used pampers for while until I discovered how much cheaper target diapers are.  Anyway.... I bought some newborn Target diapers this time for # 2.  They are AWFUL.  Super-scratchy, like paper.  I'm not even sure I'll be able to use them. 

So my question is, at what size do they start to not completely suck?  I just find it so odd that there is such a difference in the materials.

    Hmm maybe you got a bad batch. DS wears 5s and 6s and we havent had any scratchy ones. I'd take them back and ask for an exchange.

    Maybe... I mean, DS wears 6's and they're great.  I just assumed the NB ones would be the same material.  I'll probably be that mom at Target opening the packages so I can feel them.  Indifferent

    I haven't noticed a difference....we used Target diapers for DS1 (so over 2 years ago) but I think they're the same as back then.  They're definitely not as plush as Pampers so maybe that's why they feel so scratchy.  DS2 has had no problems with them but is highly allergic to Pampers.  Take them back and try a different package.

    I'd exchange them. I haven't come across any like you describe.
