We have our induction tomorrow morning at 530am. My doctor gave us no directions on what to eat or not to eat the night before. I assume there aren't really any rules since we aren't going in for a c-section.
What would be the best thing to eat tonight? I assume something with carbs and protein to stay with me would be a good idea.
Also, should I eat tomorrow morning before we go in? I assume so because I doubt they will let me eat once we get there.
Re: What to eat night before induction?
The hospital should call you tonight with instructions but I had an induction (that ended up leading to a c-section anyways) but I was not allowed to eat anything after midnight before the induction. My DH and I had "breakfast" for dinner (pancakes and sausage) the night before.
Exactly this. For your last meal I would eat something that fills you up without being greasy or wearing you down. When my water broke DH and I went to Jimmy Jonh's for lunch on our way to the hospital because I know that usually fills me up without dragging down my energy.
