we have one that you hold on the baby's forehead and then move it to their temple and I HATE it, no despise, no Loathe it. it sucks she wiggle a lot and it is never consistent.
Ergo, I don't know what is good to use, but I do know what is NOT good to use.
I think I will go back to a glass thermometer under the armpit.
I hope you get some good recommendations. We've been through three just since DS was born. They all start off great and then stop giving good readings. Yesterday he had a temp of 101 at daycare and the doctor and both our forehead and underarm thermometer (American Red Cross brand) said he was barely 99
