Pregnant after 35

It is going to be a long day - want to laugh at me?

I had to throw up this morning but I knew that if I sat on the floor I might not be able to get up.  It was hard to lean over the toilet with the size of my belly.  I threw my back out throwing up and it really hurts now.

I then came to work late and in a bad mood.  I ran around putting my lunch in the fridge and getting ready for the day.  All of the sudden my pants felt very wet and cold.  I thought that my water broke and I started to panic.  Luckily DH did not answer his phone when I called him in his office.  My water did not break but the lid on my coffee cup did.  I think that I should go back to bed.

  • I can't laugh at you throwing out your back while throwing up. Ow ow ow. No The part with the lid on your coffee cup was a little funny, but only if you have something to change into. Having to walk around in wet clothes stinks. I sure hope your day gets better from here!

  • Ugh-- I hope your pants were dark enough that the coffee stain doesn't show! What a miserable start to your day.

This is also why I typically throw up in the sink. I don't care if it's harder to wash down-- bending over like that is so uncomfortable and makes it hard to breathe (which is already hard, what with the heaving).

I hope your day gets better. It can only go up from here, right? *knock on wood*

  • I have on brown pants and they dried quickly so I am all good on the pants front.  My whole day has gone wrong so now I kind of wish that my water had broke.  I could use some time off work.  I just think that it is hilarious that I paniced for a second when it was only coffee.

  • It's like that book except you can title it, "Country Girl in the City's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day"  :) Sorry you had such a bad day...hopefully your evening was much better and here's to a better day tomorrow!

  • Sorry about the bad start to your day last week, OP.

If it makes you feel any better, I tore the seam in a pair of lounge pants on Sunday when DH and I took our dogs and son to the park to play.  Picking balls up off the gorund when your belly is huge ain't so easy, and I just happened to step on my pants and pull the seam too tight.  Thank goodness I was wearing a longer jacket and no one saw my ganny panties when we walked home.
