Shout out to DH

I've gotta give a shout out to DH.  We got a quote before Christmas that his car would be $1500+ to get fixed at a transmission shop.  He's done all this research on the engine (diesels are new to him), ordered the parts himself, borrowed a lift, and enlisted an uncle to help drop the transmission and do the repairs - all for under $600.  I feel so lucky that he is capable and willing to do the work so we don't have to dip into our savings for this repair. 

Besides that, he's been super nice about all my recent pregnant moodiness and whining.

I feel like I use TB to vent about him a lot, so I thought I'd post something nice :)  Anyone else wanna give a shout out to their DH?

    My husband has been working 14 hours a day, 6 days a week so we can afford to get into a new house. He is running on fumes and we have been fighting but his heart is in the right place to care for us. He works harder than anyone I know!

    Awesome!  I will be the first to admit that I whine when dh works overtime or spends a weekend working on our cars.   Thanks for the reminder that its really a big help.

    When DH asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I told him a few things including "buy a nicer car than you're planning to buy so I won't have to worry about it breaking." I don't know if he just decided to after all, or if it was my last car dying on the highway while I had DS with me, but he spent a lot more on my car than he told me he was going to spend.

    Also, it terrifies me, but he is trusting me to pick out our house and do everything. He usually handles all the business stuff, but he's not here. It makes me feel good to knows that he actually DOES trust me to do important stuff. He says that he just wants me to pick something I like because he may deploy again while we are here, and I need to pick something that will make me happy and feel safe, etc.
