Flu Shot

in Babies: 6 - 9 Months

I'm taking LO to get her flu shot (there are two doses, I think? so this is her first dose)  Just curious- did anyone have any ill effects from it?

    we did the 1st flu shot along with the 6 month shots, and he was a little sleepy the rest of the day, but didn't get sick or anything.  He had round 2 just yesterday and seemed fine.  I gave him some ibuprofen before we went in though just for a little pain relief.

    LO is sick now, taking him to the pedi today to see what is wrong, and he has his second dose next week.

    DS was sleepy the next day also and had a fever (101). DC called me and asked that he be picked up because of it.

    But he is also cutting two bottom teeth and was bouncing back from RSV...so he was having a rough day :(

    thankfully we haven't had any issues with any of his shots.  

    He was a little more sleepy after wards, but nothing to do with health wise.

    Nothing for us. Our LO barely even cried!

    DD was miserable after her first flu shot, but no reaction to the second dose.  The first time she had a fever, was cranky, didn't sleep well, basically wanted to be held and comfort nurse for two days.  The second dose she was a little sleepy but that's it.

    Clomid/Femara cycle #1 - 6/10 = BFN
    Clomid/Femara cycle #2 - 7/10 = BFP #1 - Missed miscarriage 9/2/10
    11/12 - BFP #2 - 11/22 - m/c
    5/1/11 - BFP #3 - Pre-eclampsia, IUGR & bed rest from 32w. DD born via induction 1/4/12.

    I got my sons flu shot yesterday and last night he had projectile vomit 3 times. I called his dr. she said he could have just caught a bug. he is doing fine now. IDK if that was related but odd.

    Thanks ladies!  She didn't even cry when she got the shot and we had a normal night!
