Hi! Is it OK if I post here?

I'm not exactly an August 2011 Mom, so I don't technically belong here.I thought I would share my story, and if you don't want me here after reading it, I'll leave.

I am 35, will be 36 in February. I have two kids from my previous marriage, DD 14, and DS 12.

Shortly after my divorce in 2004, I moved back in with my parents so that I could finish college. VERY long story short, my parents both became disabled while I was trying to finish college, so I put my life on hold so that I could help them.

I met DH in 2009, and we got married in the summer of 2011. God bless him, he was willing to move in with my parents living here so that he could assist in their care. With his help, I was able to finish college in May 2012, and we started TTC in July 2012.

In September, my irresponsible sister dropped off my one-year old nephew (born August 5, 2011) with my (still disabled) parents, and we basically haven't seen her since. She sometimes comes around on the weekends and takes him, but for the most part, DH and I are raising him.

It has been a long time since I've been around babies, so I could sure use some support, if you are willing to let me post here.
