Idk what is going on. Maybe baby is having a growth spurt or something. But I've been starving the past few days. Doing my GD thing, eating my snacks and meals but I'm still hungry all the time. Nothing is satisfying me. And then on top of that I had my first hypoglycemic episode while grocery shopping yesterday. I was bad and grabbed a snickers and a small thing of OJ. Then when I got home I ate my usual PB&J. My number still only came up to 125 after my meal, and that was with no insulin! Hoping my OB has some insight tomorrow. We did up my nighttime insulin to 48u last week. I personally think it's too much as after I had one day with my fasting at 77 it's slowly crept back up to the 110s. Gotta remember to do a middle of the night check tonight... Anyways, anyone else having constant hunger?

I had constant hunger some days early on, I found that beef jerky was my friend for a while.
Fasting numbers are hard. I'm on 48u of insulin before bed and I don't think it is too much because that, and 9u of 'regular' insulin before dinner is what it took to get my fasting numbers down. I don't know what type of insulin you are on, I'm assuming the before bed is NPH (long acting). Anyway, talk to your dr. about your numbers and the hunger and keep trying, this is hard stuff!
I haven't changed anything, been eating about 2000 calories a day for weeks. Pretty much the same meals since I'm lazy and they're working for me. Just all of a sudden the past few days, constant hunger. I was doing fine on 45u, my fastings were finally good. Then the OB got a bug up her butt and decided she wanted tighter control. So, I was like okey dokey let's try it. My endo was fine with it but was worried about the 77, as was I. That was Thursday. Then today I had my first fasting in the 110s for the first time in weeks.
Oh and jerky isn't an option, haven't found one that is gluten free.

Oh! GF is easy! DH can't have gluten and is so sensitive we can't even have it in the house. Pacific Gold and Oberto are both GF! Just not the Teriyaki flavor. They are from the same parent company. DH didn't eat any when I had it because he doesn't eat beef and they only have turkey in the Teriyaki flavor. I know there are some other brands he found but I don't remember what they are.
Even the cheapie ones do decent jerky and I believe there are a few oven-based tutorials floating around online if you're not wanting to make the investment (a friend bought me a $40 one, it works great!). I love homemade jerky.
