Wow.  That's all I can say.  My hat is off to those who watch other people's children!  I've never particularly enjoyed babysitting, but I did a favor for a friend who was in a jam today.  Sweet kid, but oh my!  Lucky me, DH is coming home early and has offered to make dinner and bring home some cold white wine!  He is so getting some later on after I get some of my energy back.

I could NEVER own a daycare at home.  That is all.

    Good of you to help your friend out!  How old was the kid?

    I have had a few people ask me to do daycare since I'm a SAHM, and I'm all no.effing.way.  I love kids, but I don't want to watch any of them all day except for my own.  That was kind of you to do a favor.  At least at the end of the day, you are getting wine and some secksy time.

    Kid was 3.  She offered to pay, but I said no way.  She has been so nice to us and has passed down some super cute clothes to C.  I felt like it was the least that I could do.

    That was nice of you! One kid at home wears me the eff out. I can't even imagine more than that right now. I need a beer just thinking about it.

    I was at my thinnest when I was a nanny of four, I was constantly moving.

    I have contemplated opening an in home daycare when we move into the bigger house, but I have no idea when we will get to move....which sucks.
