Anderson had his first of 12 non-stress tests this morning. He passed with flying colors! They couldn't get him to hold still long enough to get a long base line read on his heart rate but the dr. that looked over his results said he was perfect. I don't know if it was my eating breakfast or he didn't want the monitors on him but this kid went crazy and wouldn't hold still for 40 minutes LOL Thursday I'm going to hold off on breakfast and see if that helps any.
My numbers for my sugars are doing a lot better these past few days so that's making me relax a bit. My pressure was 100/68 today so I was pretty excited about that.

Re: 1 NST down and 11 to go
Even if they want him to move less I still wouldn't hold off on breakfast. Each week DD is doing something different. My NSTs are about the same time every week. I'm always there about an hour or so after eating breakfast. Some days she's super active and we're seeing her kick just watching my belly. Then the next week they're having to buzz my belly to wake her ass up... If you're having caffeine like coffee or tea or w/e with your breakfast maybe cut that out but I wouldn't go without food. Especially with GD...
Glad your fastings and BP are doing good though!
That's great that he was moving a lot!! They need movement to ensure the heartrate goes up at least 10-15 beats more with each movement. The longer it takes for them to get the amount of increases. The longer you have to stay for the test. While I had mine, there was a woman who was there 1/2 hr before me and was still there as I was leaving. My sister is an RN in L&D and was visiting me during my test and told me how long this other lady was there for.
Your BP was good and nice to hear your sugars are well!
