"We had no coffee left after the weekend. I woke up and stumbled out into the kitchen to find that Jay went to Starbucks this morning and picked up a pound of whole bean Verona for me and brought it back home before he left for work. I am blown away. That was so incredibly thoughtful of him."

That is stinken sweet. It was still on most of the morning then I started to smell something burning. I figured the clean button had been flashing for awhile and decided to actually clean it. I filled it up with water and vinegar and then nothing. I texted dh so fast, if he wants to live, he will return home with a new one!

There'd be no question. Jay wouldn't bother coming home without one. Seriously. He likes it as much as I do. Although, we've both been on a french press kick lately, and *might* consider trying to survive on just press coffee for a week before buying a new drip.

If you can get used to it, and are patient enough press is the way to roll. We haven't used a drip in years. We do have a Keurig, but still use the press quite a bit. Just can't beat whole bean goodness sometimes!

My biggest aversion is coffee with this pregnancy. I used to drink 2-3 cups a day just for the amazing taste.
I have not had it in over 5 weeks.
-sobs-
This is me. I'm finally past the point where coffee is making me nauseous, so I think I'm going back to one cup a day. Mainly because I can't get out of this slump of exhaustion.
JK- That is very sweet. I always tell my DH that the most romantic thing he can do is to make me coffee in the morning. And he does most days... LOVE it!
