Sure-fire success

We've taken a break from trying (for a month, anyway), I had (a few too many glasses of) wine last night at a GGlobes party and there's a vacation in our future.

I have heard from many well-informed experts including my dad, SIL and various other non-doctor friends and relations that this new "BS protocol," as I like to call it, will guaranteed result in a live birth. 

Suspicious, I checked the SA.RT figures and, lo and behold, for women in my age group, the "just relax" treatment has a 100 percent success rate! I'm starting to wonder why I've been bothering with all these doctors, injections and vaginal probings!

I'll admit that there is some advance treatment--"just" adopting--that we haven't yet tried, but other than that, I'm for sure getting PG this cycle, yo! So excited!

    Damn Scoop!  Wish I had known this before I embarked on this cycle!  So if we aren't successful this time around we will surely take that vacation and that will be the end to our problems!  Maybe all of us should take a vacation together.... our odds would surely increase with that!

Beta #2 2/8/13 - 586! , Beta #3 2/10/13 = 1898. First u/s perfect little heart beat at 116 bpm. Measure 6 weeks 1 day. EDD 10/14/13
    3/4/13 measuring right on track beautiful heartbeat 171 bpm, graduated from RE to OB... bittersweet.
    PAIF/SAIF always welcome! Its a girl! 

    Maggie Grace is here!  10/5/13... 8lbs 6 ounces of pure joy!

    TTC#2  No birth control since DD was born.  Getting ready to jump back in the saddle.  Weaning this month. RE
    appt scheduled 5/8.   Here we go again!

    IFV# 6.  10/27  6 retrieved 4 mature 3 fertilized.  2 made it to 3dt 10/30. 1"very pretty 8 cell" and 1 6 cell.  Beta
    11/13.   Please stick embies!!!!  We love you so much already! 11/12/14  POAS, BFP... beta tomorrow!

    Great idea! 

    And don't beat yourself up about it. After all, it took me three+ years of TTC, a miscarriage, thousands of dollars and three IVF cycles to figure out that the advice of random morons who heard a story from their friend's friend's friend about a couple who went on vacation and got pregnant was probably totally spot-on!

    Well to tell you the truth, my cousins friends doctors sister neighbor gave up trying and got KU immediately after she adopted of course while she was on vacation.

    IVF #4 October 2012 - New RE. Doing PGD Testing. 8 R, 7F, 2 made it to 5 day blast for PDG testing. Both Normal (Thank you G-d!!!) 1 boy and 1 girl
    transferred one beautiful 5day blast (girl)

    6w5d ultrasound showed one perfect baby with a beautiful heartbeat of 134bpm!

    Well I must be unknowingly PG from vacation last May! I should be popping out a baby very soon. Maybe  I should order a crib? hmmm..

    Oh, and be sure to keep your legs up in the air for at least 10 minutes after BD!  (I'm still reminded to do that by several friends who swear that got them KU)
